I am Samuel.
I am an explorer. I work with matter, with words, with light and pixels, with code, and with ideas and knowledge.
Right now, in 2026, I am running Joyfume, a natural perfumery practice in Darmstadt, where I also live with my wife and our soon two-year-old son.
I also run Vectorstudio — a small consulting practice through which I help small startups make the best of AI through the use of taste and design.
The Aroma Atlas is the main thing I’ve built recently — a visual reference for natural aromatics.
I lived in Norway and worked at Elfly AS, helping develop an electric passenger seaplane. I was mainly responsible for the hull design and sub-scale testing.
I travelled a lot with my wife — all around Spain and Portugal, and two months in India. This was when the seeds of Joyfume were sown.
